Notebook is imagined as a space that unfolds like a quiet editorial. The store becomes a physical notebook, where every movement is a page that turns, and every corner introduces a new line in the narrative of Uniform Clothing for Urban Women. The design embraces stillness and clarity, rejecting the overstimulation of conventional retail environments in favour of a space that feels composed, thoughtful, and intimate. The journey through the store is choreographed as a sequence of reveals, each one deepening the visitor’s understanding of the brand’s philosophy.

unfolding spaces
The organising idea is Unfolding Spaces. At the heart of the layout is a sculpted rhombus that acts as the gallery core. This central volume behaves as a centrefold spread in an editorial, presenting mannequins, curated installations, and the season’s thought pieces on elevated grey marble platforms. The geometry creates angular sightlines that offer layered viewpoints, allowing garments to be experienced as objects of study rather than mere products. Light is treated as a soft wash that glides across fabrics and textures, enhancing the discipline and sharpness of the silhouettes showcased.
At the core, the circulation becomes a slow, unfolding process. Stainless-steel clothing rods trace the rhombus’s edges like quiet margins, guiding the visitor along cobblestones that subtly mark the display corridors. These tactile paths contrast with the warm, micro-concrete movement areas, reflecting a deliberate rhythm between grounded textures and smooth transitions. Dark-brown lime-clay partitions anchor the space and serve as spatial dividers, recalling page separators or bookmarks in a well-used notebook. Each side of this central volume holds a micro-collection, giving structure and clarity to the brand’s storytelling.
Moments of privacy are tucked into the spatial folds. The trial room and mirrors sit behind softened corners, creating spaces that feel personal and reflective, like margin notes on a page. The store invites women to pause, observe themselves, and rediscover their own silhouettes in a quiet environment that honours their individuality.
refined simplicity
Throughout the interior, the material palette reinforces the brand’s commitment to refined simplicity. Beige lime clay envelops the walls and ceiling with a soft tactile warmth. Darker lime clay surfaces create visual weight and highlight transitions between spaces. Stainless steel accents bring precision and sharpness, contrasting with the organic feel of the clay textures. Cobblestone tiles bring earthiness and memory, while the elevated marble platforms carry an editorial still life quality.
Each view is composed to feel like a photograph. The play of planes, light, textures, and garments creates inherently frame-worthy moments, offering visitors backdrops that feel like pages from a design magazine. The store, therefore, becomes both a spatial experience and a visual narrative.
Notebook is ultimately a study in restraint and intention. It celebrates the modern urban woman who moves through life with confidence and clarity. The architecture supports her by offering a space that is serene yet assertive, structured yet poetic. Through its unfolding chapters, the store communicates the essence of the brand: a world where design is thoughtful, clothing is purposeful, and every detail is a note captured in a beautifully crafted notebook.
